Another interesting meme: Geez am I old!

A.) Go to
B.) Enter the year you graduated from high school in the search function and get the list of 100 most popular songs of that year
C.) Bold the songs you like, strike through the ones you hate and underline your favorite. Do nothing to the ones you don't remember (or don't care about)
ETA: The ones in italics are the ones I don't remember ever hearing, the ones I did nothing with are because half the time, when I listened to the radio, I never caught the name of the song or who did it. So I might have liked or hated the song, but unless I actually hear it, I don't have a clue how I feel about it.
The ones I hated, well, I hated them because they were so over-played. Every time I turned on the radio, one of them was playing, and you heard it about 5 or 6 times in 4 hours.

  1. I know and love so many of those songs I should do your year and mine.

  2. Awesome list, considering it starts with Alone Again AND Without You (Gilbert O'Sullivan AND Nilssen? All you need is Gino Vanelli and Leo Sayer :). I THINK my list might be awesomer, but in a different way. Only because I love almost every song on it a whole lot and seeing the list was enough to make me cry, even though I still listen to a lot of those songs.

    Great one vesta, thanks.

  3. heheh I went and did mine and found a ton of music I still like, particularly "Every breath you Take" by the Police at #1

    Guess 1983 was a good year.

  4. This is a great list. I love your blog, so I've nominated you for the "I Love Your Blog" award! To get the details, please visit;

  5. Oooh I'm gonna go vote for vesta! I too love her blog; it is one of the best and coolest blogs in the entire world of fat. Hehe. World of fat; I like that. Vesta is hardass yet compassionate, inclusive and not divisive, she is kind and tough. What's not to love?

  6. april - thank you. Now I'll have to figure out who to nominate out of all the blogs I have a couple in mind already.

    annie - you're making me blush, girlfriend (you left out stubborn, opinionated, and bitch goddess from hell.......roflol).
